Awesome. How strong is her magic, would you say? I don't exactly have the baselines for the different rankings hashed out yet, but it should at least give me an idea if Gwendolen would be better ranked as an Apprentice or Adept.

Well it's pretty strong. Not super epic master powerful, but much higher than average. (though spoiler for her canon: In reality her own actually only just average. She stole her little brother's power.)
I guess she;d be suited for adept, she;d be super happy about that, or if we start her off as apprentice than promote her...

Can you give me some examples? Like "strong enough to beat a wolf" versus "strong enough to fight a dragon" versus "strong enough to defeat a god"?

Well, she has a variety of magical abilities, including summoning, transfiguration, elemental skills and energy blasts. Some spells simply require concentration, some involve saying words, and some involve complete rituals. She can also fly on a broom, and can't drown. Some magic users have certain special abilities, and Gwendolen's seems to be leeching magical powers from certain people and things to use herself.
I'd say strong enough to beat a wolf, maybe hold out a bit against a dragon

Lute would very much like to join, and stay. Not sure what his role would be or a title. In canon he's called the Guardian of Mankind or The Demon of Sforzando. His official title is First Prince Lute Archbishop of Sforzando Captain of the Magiguard.

Wow. Now that's a title Lemina can appreciate. (She's currently trying to extend hers as far as possible -- it's currently Deputy Guildmistress of the New Magic Guild of Vane and Black Wizard of the Heroes of Lunar.) I'm going to just take a guess here and say that he's probably at Adept level at least? We can discuss the possibilities of a specific office or role later, see what comes up that he'd be well-suited for!

It sounds so important, and then you meet him and wonder how a klutzy kid managed to attain that kind of role. Though it is deserving. And yep! He should be at least adept. In canon he's a magic genius. Sounds good!

Man, he and Lemina might get along pretty nicely, then. She's a book-loving nerd in some ways, but definitely a ditzy blond in others. Added him to the roster!
